The electricity mix describes the distribution of electricity generation according to different primary energy sources. The electricity mix will be revealed to you in your annual bill. However, some large corporations in Germany rely on fossil fuels for over 60%, sometimes even over 70%, i.e. H. largely based on coal and natural gas. In contrast, green electricity providers largely supply electricity from renewable energy, and sometimes also electricity from low-emission combined heat and power based on natural gas.

With around 20 million rental apartments, balcony power plants can also provide economies of scale and positively support the electricity mix with renewable energies.
